In Own Words:
I'm a very easy, outgoing, and friendly person. I like to make friends and be friends with everyone. In high school I was involved in as many things as possible and I also have to always be doing something. I enjoy doing anything especially hunting, fishing, hiking, really anything outdoors related, hanging out with friends, and I love to curl. I always strive to try things at least once before I can decide if I like it or not because if you've never tried it how are you going to know if you like it. [cr][lf][cr][lf]Curling means a lot to me personally and its my passion. I love every part about the game whether if its making the last shot to win or if youre getting blown out of the water. The reason is no matter what the outcome of the game, it's always a great time to sit down with the opposite team and talk and get to know one another. Curling is a great sport to make friends and be friends with everyone. Its really awesome because even though these people may not live in the same state as you, you still get to see them all the time whether its at bonspiels or camps. I also love curling because it's a very physical game, but more important a very mental game that makes you really think and look a certain things in different ways. [cr][lf][cr][lf]I got started curling when I was very little from my dad, Jim Shlimovitz. Every Wednesday he'd take me down to the club with him and I would get to watch his league games. I thought it was the coolest thing ever being about to play on ice like that, I had to try it out. From the moment I first stepped on the ice I knew this was something I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Curling is a lifelong sport and I cant wait to see what the future has in store for me. Junior Highlights:
Katie Beck Award Recipient[cr][lf]Four time state high school curling finalist: 2 time state champ, 2 time runner-up[cr][lf] Wisconsin State Playdown Champion[cr][lf]Tietge Champion[cr][lf]
