In Own Words:
I've been curling since I watched the 2010 Olympic Games one early morning while eating breakfast with my dad. I told him that curling looked fun and I wanted to try it. I researched the nearest clubs and I signed up for my club's middle school league that day.[cr][lf]I love that curling takes me to places I wouldn't have gone to, and people I wouldn't have met otherwise. My favorite bonspiel I've been to so far has been the Surf City Spiel in Los Angelos at the Orange County Curling Club. I signed up as a team-less, 14 year old for an adult bonspiel, but when I arrived I was instantly greeted and welcomed by people who love the same sport I do. I even got to compete against past Olympians and people I’'e looked up to for years![cr][lf]
