In Own Words:
I have been curling for 7 seasons and curling is my life. Every decision I have made for the last 7 years[cr][lf]has always depended when and where Im curling. Ever since my dad introduced me to the sport, I have[cr][lf]done nothing but eat, sleep, curling. My favorite part about curling is the sheer focus and intensity that[cr][lf]is needed in every game. I have never been more exhausted, physical and mentally, than I was after[cr][lf]curling game. Most people dont understand the affect a major competition can have on your body, but[cr][lf]I love feeling that moment of 100% pure focus and concentration. The other thing I love about curling, is[cr][lf]that I get to do it with my sister. I started curling a year before my sister and it took me so long to get to[cr][lf]try it. 6 years later my sister and I inseparable when it comes to curling and the things that we have[cr][lf]experienced together have been absolutely amazing. We have learned so much about each other and I[cr][lf]thank god every day that I get to do my 2 favorite things almost every day: curl and be with my sister.
Junior Highlights:
3x GLCA Regional Champion (2013, 2014, 2015)[cr][lf]3 National Championships (2013-10, 2014-7, 2015)[cr][lf]3 U-18 International Championships[cr][lf]Nominated for 2014 Katie Beck Award (Curling Camp Blaine, MN)
