In Own Words:
Brenda was born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and was introduced to curling through the high school physical education curriculum. She moved to Alberta in the summer of 1992 and rekindled her love for the game in the ’93 season. Brenda’s first year as a Super League skip in the Ladies 2005/06 season landed her first place Champion. She has competed in several Curling Tour events as well as Ladies and Mixed Curling at the Club and Northern levels. Three short years ago, she skipped her team to the 2010 Alberta Scotties. Brenda, along with her husband Kevin, own and operate Doroshuk Construction Alberta Ltd.
