Melanie’s curling career began in Mundare, Alberta where she was born and raised. She has curled for 31 seasons and has competed in numerous local and World Curling Tour events including Canada Cup West. Melanie is a former champion of the Edmonton Women’s Superleague. She had the great fortune to develop and train under the coaching expertise of Darryl Horne during the 2007-2008 season. She is a student of the game, always studying up on strategy, and loves to practise. Melanie is employed as a Capacity Analyst for the Stollery Children’s Hospital
