Schwaller finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Schwaller defeated Ema Polivkova (Prague, CZE) 13-2, then went on to lose 4-3 against Yildiz. Schwaller responded with a 6-4 win over Hana Synackova (Prague, CZE). Schwaller won 9-4 against Rebecca Mariani (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA), then won 12-0 against Gabriela Kajanova (Prague, CZE) in their final qualifying round match.
