Matt Dunstone (Winnipeg, MB) run at the 2025 AMJ Players' Championship came to an end in the semifinals with a 7-5 loss to Yannick Schwaller (Geneve, SUI). of the 2025 AMJ Players' Championship in Toronto, Ontario; Dunstone advanced through the quarterfinals with a 6-1 win over Mike McEwen (Saskatoon, SK). of the 2025 AMJ Players' Championship in Toronto, Ontario;
Dunstone finished 3-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dunstone lost 4-3 to Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL), then responded with a 7-2 win over Joel Retornaz (Cembra, ITA). Dunstone won 6-1 against Brad Jacobs (Edmonton, AB). Dunstone went on to lose 9-8 against McEwen. Dunstone responded with a 7-5 win over John Epping (Sudbury, NO) in their final qualifying round match.
Dunstone earned 42.500 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the AMJ Players' Championship, remaining in 4th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 14.875 after improving upon their best so far this season. Dunstone ranks 4th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 353.250 points earned so far this season.
