Dunstone won 6-1 against Brad Jacobs (Edmonton, AB). Dunstone went on to lose 9-8 against McEwen. Dunstone responded with a 7-5 win over John Epping (Sudbury, NO) in their final qualifying round match.

Dunstone earned 42.500 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the AMJ Players' Championship, remaining in 4th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 14.875 after improving upon their best so far this season.
