Mike McEwen (Saskatoon, SK) qualified for the 2025 AMJ Players' Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-1 against Matt Dunstone (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2025 AMJ Players' Championship in Toronto, Ontario;
 
McEwen finished 3-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McEwen defeated Joel Retornaz (Cembra, ITA) 6-3, then went on to lose 7-5 against John Epping (Sudbury, NO). McEwen responded with a 7-4 win over Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL). McEwen won 9-8 against Dunstone. McEwen went on to lose 6-5 against Brad Jacobs (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
McEwen earned 30.000 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the AMJ Players' Championship, remaining in 6th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 3 after improving upon their best so far this season. McEwen ranks 6th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 292.000 points earned so far this season.
