Bruce Mouat (Stirling, SCO) won 6-5 over Yannick Schwaller (Geneve, SUI) in the Final of the AMJ Players' Championship, held April 9 - 13, 2025 in Toronto, Ontario. Advancing directly to the semifinals, Mouat won 6-2 over Brad Jacobs (Edmonton, AB) to advance to the championship game. of the 2025 AMJ Players' Championship in Toronto, Ontario; of the 2025 AMJ Players' Championship in Toronto, Ontario;
 
Mouat finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mouat defeated Marc Muskatewitz (Fuessen, GER) 8-6, then won 5-1 against Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN) and 7-5 against Schwaller. Mouat went on to lose 6-2 against Ross Whyte (Stirling, SCO). Mouat responded with a 5-3 win over Marco Hoesli (Glarus, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the AMJ Players' Championship Championship title, Mouat earned 75.000 world rankings points along with the $40,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 32.5 after improving upon their best so far this season. Mouat ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 532.250 points earned so far this season.
