Bruce Mouat (Stirling, SCO) lost 8-3 to Ross Whyte (Stirling, SCO) in the Final of the Hardie Engineering Scottish Curling Men's Championships, held February 2 - 8, 2025 at the Dumfries Ice Bowl in Dumfries, Scotland. To advance to the championship game, Mouat won 8-2 over Orrin Carson (Stirling, SCO) in the semifinals
 
Mouat finished 7-1 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mouat defeated Scotland's Arran Thomson 9-3, then won 7-5 against Carson and 6-1 against Ross Craik (Stirling, SCO). Mouat won 9-4 against Kyle Waddell (Stirling, SCO), then won 8-0 against Gavin Cameron (Moray, SCO). Mouat went on to lose 7-5 against Cameron Bryce (Norder, SCO). Mouat responded with a 7-2 win over James Craik (Stirling, SCO). Mouat won 9-8 against Whyte in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Hardie Engineering Scottish Curling Men's Championships, Mouat take home 35.750 world rankings points. For week 28 of the event schedule, Mouat did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 1st place on the World Ranking Standings with 455.750 total points. Mouat ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 455.750 points earned so far this season.
