Ross Whyte (Stirling, SCO) won 8-3 over Bruce Mouat (Stirling, SCO) in the Final of the Hardie Engineering Scottish Curling Men's Championships, held February 2 - 8, 2025 at the Dumfries Ice Bowl in Dumfries, Scotland. To advance to the championship game, Whyte won 8-4 over James Craik (Stirling, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2025 Hardie Engineering Scottish Curling Men's Championships in Dumfries, Scotland, Scotland;
 
Whyte finished 7-1 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Whyte defeated Kyle Waddell (Stirling, SCO) 7-2, then won 9-3 against Ross Craik (Stirling, SCO) and 7-3 against Scotland's Arran Thomson. Whyte won 9-2 against Gavin Cameron (Moray, SCO), then won 10-4 against Cameron Bryce (Norder, SCO) and 8-3 against Craik. Whyte won 9-2 against Orrin Carson (Stirling, SCO). Whyte went on to lose 9-8 against Mouat in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Hardie Engineering Scottish Curling Men's Championships Championship title, Whyte earned 48.750 world rankings points. Whyte move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 27.75 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 4th overall with 310.000 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
