To advance to the championship game, Mitchell won 11-4 over Allyson MacNutt (Halifax, NS) in the semifinals of the 2025 Ocean Contractors Nova Scotia Womens Curling Championship in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada;
Mitchell finished 4-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mitchell lost 9-3 to Black, droppimg another game, 5-4 to Nova Scotia's Rebecca Regan where Mitchell responded with a 9-8 win over MacNutt. Mitchell won 6-5 against Tanya Hilliard (Halifax, NS), then won 5-0 against Mary Myketyn-Driscoll (Halifax, NS) and 11-3 against Kristen MacDiarmid (Halifax , NS) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Ocean Contractors Nova Scotia Womens Curling Championship, Mitchell take home 8.250 world rankings points, moving up 56 spots the World Ranking Standings into 126th place overall with 12.307 total points. Mitchell ranks 129th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 8.813 points earned so far this season.
