Momoha Tabata (Sapporo, JPN) won 7-4 over Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN) in the Final of the Red Deer Curling Classic, held November 15 - 18, 2024 at the Red Deer Curling Club in Red Deer, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Tabata won 11-3 over Ikue Kitazawa (Nagano, JPN) in the semifinals of the 2024 Red Deer Curling Classic in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada; and won 4-3 over Sayaka Yoshimura (Sapporo, JPN) in the quarterfinals.
 
Tabata finished 5-2 in the 28-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tabata defeated Jolene Campbell (Regina, SK) 7-3, then went on to lose 7-3 against Delaney Strouse (Traverse City, MI). Tabata responded with a 8-0 win over Kristy Watling (Winnipeg, MB). Tabata went on to lose 7-2 against Tabitha Peterson (St. Paul, MN). Tabata responded with a 8-4 win over Serena Gray-Withers (Edmonton, AB). Tabata won 9-2 against Campbell to advance to the C-Qualifier where they 7-2 against Chelsea Carey (Winnipeg, MB) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Red Deer Curling Classic Championship title, Tabata earned 48.750 world rankings points along with the $10,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 16 of the event schedule, Tabata did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Tabata ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
