Kim finished 3-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kim defeated Breanna Rozon (Oshawa, ON) 6-3, then won 8-0 against McCarville and 6-3 against Isabella Wrana (Sundbyberg, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Stu Sells Toronto Tankard Championship title, Kim earned 45.000 world rankings points along with the $10,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 11 of the event schedule, Kim did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kim ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
