Niklas Edin (Karlstad , SWE) qualified for the 2024 Co-op Canadian Open playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-5 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL). of the 2024 Co-op Canadian Open in Nisku, Alberta;
 
Edin finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Edin defeated James Craik (Stirling, SCO) 8-3, then won 8-6 against Michael Brunner (Bern, SUI). Edin went on to lose 5-4 against Gushue. Edin responded with a 8-4 win over Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
