Sara Messenzehl (Fuessen, GER) finished 4-5 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Messenzehl defeated Robyn Munro (Stirling, SCO) 6-4, then went on to lose 8-2 against Xenia Schwaller (Zurich, SUI). Messenzehl lost 9-7 to Miku Nihira (Sapporo, JPN). Messenzehl lost 9-1 to Zhuo Han (HARBIN, CHN) where Messenzehl responded with a 9-6 win over Korea's Hanbyeol Park. Messenzehl went on to lose 8-4 against Moa Dryburgh (Stockholm, SWE). Messenzehl responded with a 8-2 win over Ilknur Urusan (Erzurum, TUR). Messenzehl went on to lose 8-6 against Myla Plett (Sherwood Park, CAN). Messenzehl responded with a 5-4 win over Torhild Bjoernstad (Oppdal, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.

Messenzehl earned 6.750 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 31 of the event schedule, Messenzehl did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Messenzehl ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
