Plett won 9-1 against Ilknur Urusan (Erzurum, TUR). Plett went on to lose 8-3 against Korea's Hanbyeol Park. Plett responded with a 8-6 win over Sara Messenzehl (Fuessen, GER). Plett went on to lose 8-6 against Schwaller in their final qualifying round match.

With their fourth place finish at the World Junior Curling Championships, Plett take home 18.000 world rankings points, moving up 44 spots the World Ranking Standings into 76th place overall with 32.375 total points. Plett ranks 76th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 32.375 points earned so far this season.
