Momoha Tabata (Sapporo, JPN) won 10-3 over Mayu Minami (Sapporo, JPN) in the Final of the Hokkaido Curling Championships, held December 6 - 12, 2023 in Sapporo, Japan.

Tabata finished 7-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tabata defeated Wakaba Kawamura (Obihiro, JPN) 5-4, then won 9-3 against Miyuki Kawamura (Hokkaido, JPN) and 8-2 against Atsuki Akimoto (Hokkaido, JPN). Tabata won 12-0 against Hazuki Kimura (Kitami, JPN), then won 6-5 against Minami and 8-2 against Kohane Tsuruga (Sapporo, JPN). Tabata won 6-2 against Yuina Miura (Nayoro, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Hokkaido Curling Championships Championship title, Tabata earned 3.750 world rankings points. For week 21 of the event schedule, Tabata did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 45th place on the World Ranking Standings with 71.403 total points. Tabata ranks 40th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 59.000 points earned so far this season.
