Yang went on to lose 10-4 against Kadriana Lott (Winnipeg, CAN). Yang lost 6-4 to Sophie Jackson (Stirling, SCO). Yang lost 7-5 to Jiyoon Kim (Seoul, KOR) in their final qualifying round match.

Yang earned 12.375 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 40 of the event schedule, Yang did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 30th place on the World Ranking Standings with 61.750 total points. Yang ranks 30th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 61.750 points earned so far this season.
