Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI) won 6-5 over Isabella Wrana (Sundbyberg, SWE) in the Final of the Princess Auto Players' Championship, held April 9 - 14, 2024 in Toronto, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Tirinzoni won 5-3 over Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) in the semifinals of the Princess Auto Players' Championship in Toronto, Ontario; and won 6-3 over Kim in the quarterfinals. of the Princess Auto Players' Championship in Toronto, Ontario;
Tirinzoni finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tirinzoni defeated Kaitlyn Lawes (Winnipeg, MB) 7-3, then won 6-4 against Kim and 7-3 against Xenia Schwaller (Zurich, SUI). Tirinzoni won 7-3 against Kerri Einarson (Gimli, MB). Tirinzoni went on to lose 11-9 against Eun ji Gim (Uijeongbu, KOR) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Princess Auto Players' Championship Championship title, Tirinzoni earned 75.000 world rankings points along with the $60,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 2nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 37.5 after improving upon their best so far this season. Tirinzoni ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 434.250 points earned so far this season.
