Advancing directly to the semifinals, Koana/Aoki won 9-4 over Mintaute Jurkute/Paulius Rymeikis (Vilnius, LTU) to advance to the championship game. of the 2024 WCT Latvian Mixed Doubles Curling Cup 2 in Riga, Latvia;

Koana/Aoki finished 5-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Koana/Aoki defeated Agate Regza/Kriss Vonda (Riga, LAT) 9-3, then won 10-6 against Katrina Gaidule/Roberts Buncis (Riga, LAT) and 7-2 against Evita Regza/Aleksandrs Baranovskis (Riga, LAT). Koana/Aoki won 11-4 against Jurkute/Rymeikis, then won 12-2 against Lina Januleviciute/Donatas Kiudys (Vilnius, LTU) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the WCT Latvian Mixed Doubles Curling Cup 2 Championship title, Koana/Aoki earned 11.250 world rankings points along with the $500CDN first prize cheque. For week 37 of the event schedule, Koana/Aoki did not improve upon their best events, improving from 7th to 5th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 135.750 total points.
