Sandham/Craig finished 3-0 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sandham/Craig defeated Jessica Guilbault/Eric Fenech (Kingston, ON) 12-3, then won 6-4 against Megan Ford/Daniel Krowchuk (Niagara Falls, ON) and 8-4 against Julie Benson/Bret Jackson (Northville, MI) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Ilderton Mixed Doubles Spiel Championship title, Sandham/Craig earned 18.750 world rankings points along with the $2,500CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 45th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of -6.376 after improving upon their best so far this season.
