In their opening game, Roenning/Braenden defeated Adela Walczak/Andrzej Augustyniak (Lodz, POL) 10-9, then won 6-4 against Lea Hueppi/Jonas Weiss (Dubendorf, SUI) and 9-4 against Therese Westman/Robin Ahlberg (Stockholm, SWE). Roenning/Braenden won 7-3 against Astrid Pfluegler/Mattaus Hofer (Kitzbuehel, AUT), then won 12-1 against Oestgaard/Eriksen in their final qualifying round match.
