Tammy Dewar (Charlottetown, PEI) finished 1-3 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dewar lost 7-2 to Jessica Daigle (Halifax, NS), droppimg another game, 9-5 to Ariel Traxler (Fairbanks , AK) where Dewar responded with a 7-6 win over Jane DiCarlo (Crapaud, PEI). Dewar went on to lose 7-2 against Laurie St-Georges (Montreal, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
