Alexandros Arampatzis (Athens, GRE) finished 1-6 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Arampatzis lost 11-6 to Matt Lukas (Vaduz, LIE), droppimg another game, 7-6 to Alberto Skendrovic (Dugo Selo, CRO). Arampatzis lost 11-5 to Eduard Nikolov (Kyiv, UKR) where Arampatzis responded with a 10-3 win over Giorgi Jeiranashvili (Tbilisi, GEO). Arampatzis went on to lose 11-1 against Konrad Stych (Lodz, POL). Arampatzis lost 6-5 to Josep Garcia (Andorra, AND). Arampatzis lost 8-4 to Gabor Bor Zelinka (Ljubljana, SLO) in their final qualifying round match.
