Linda Joo/Lorinc Tatar (Budapest, HUN) finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Joo/Tatar defeated Sanita Saulgrieze/Janis Redlihs (Riga, LAT) 8-5, then won 11-5 against Akvile Rykove/Konstantin Rykov (Vilnius, LTU) and 10-3 against Natalie Wiksten/Kasper Wiksten (Taarnby, DEN) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the WCT Latvian Mixed Doubles Curling Cup 2 Championship title, Joo/Tatar earned 18.750 world rankings points along with the $500CDN first prize cheque. For week 36 of the event schedule, Joo/Tatar did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
