Ackerman went on to lose 7-4 against Kayla Skrlik (Calgary, AB). Ackerman responded with a 7-2 win over Nancy Martin (Sasktoon, SK). Ackerman won 5-3 against Selena Sturmay (Edmonton, AB) to advance to the B-Qualifier where they 9-5 against Beth Peterson (Winnipeg, MB) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
