Mason Guentzel (St. Paul, MN) needed a tiebreaker to advance to the playoffs, Guentzel finished 3-4 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Guentzel lost 7-6 to Connor Grabow (Blaine, MN), droppimg another game, 9-4 to Caden Hebert (Eau Claire, WI) where Guentzel responded with a 12-0 win over Evan Carlson (Laurel, MD). Guentzel won 10-4 against Zachary Brenden (Bismarck, ND). Guentzel went on to lose 12-9 against Wesley Wendling (Wausau, WI). Guentzel lost 8-6 to Nicholas Cenzalli (Wayland, MA) where Guentzel responded with a 9-8 win over Caiden Rose (Denver, CO) in their final qualifying round match.

Guentzel earned 3.000 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the USA Curling Junior National Championship. For week 36 of the event schedule, Guentzel did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Guentzel ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
