Yoshimura finished 3-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Yoshimura defeated Fay Henderson (Stirling, GBR) 8-6, then won 6-2 against Kaitlin Jewer (Peterborough, ON) and 5-3 against Courtney Auld (Thornhill, ON). Yoshimura went on to lose 6-1 against Krista McCarville (Thunder Bay, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.
