To advance to the championship game, Jeong won 7-6 over Owen Purcell (Halifax, NS) in the semifinals of the 2023 Stu Sells Tankard in Barrie, Ontario, Canada; and won 6-3 over Jongduk Park (Gangwon, KOR) in the quarterfinals. of the 2023 Stu Sells Tankard in Barrie, Ontario, Canada;
 
Jeong finished 3-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jeong defeated Pat Ferris (Grimsby, ON) 5-2, then won 6-5 against Scott Dunnam (Philadelphia, PA) and 4-3 against Travis Fanset (Brantford, ON). Jeong went on to lose 3-2 against Marco Hoesli (Glarus, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Stu Sells Tankard, Jeong take home 27.500 world rankings points along with the $7,000CDN prize.
