Kalk/MacAlpine lost 7-3 to Patty Hersikorn/Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK). Kalk/MacAlpine lost 9-1 to Jocelyn Peterman/Brett Gallant (Calgary, AB) where Kalk/MacAlpine responded with a 8-7 win over Sarah Loken/Cody Tanaka (Richmond, BC). Kalk/MacAlpine went on to lose 8-3 against Rachel Homan/Tyler Tardi (Ottawa, ON). Kalk/MacAlpine responded with a 9-2 win over Patty Wallingham/Ben Robinson (Whithorse, YK) in their final qualifying round match.

Kalk/MacAlpine earned 7.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 34 of the event schedule, Kalk/MacAlpine did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kalk/MacAlpine ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
