Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB) qualified for the 2023 HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 1 playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-2 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL). of the 2023 HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 1 in Niagara Falls, Ontario;

Carruthers finished 2-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Carruthers lost 5-4 to Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB), droppimg another game, 4-2 to Joel Retornaz (Trentino, ITA) where Carruthers responded with a 6-2 win over John Shuster (Duluth , MN). Carruthers won 4-3 against Ross Whyte (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Carruthers earned 30.000 world rankings points for their Top 7 finish in the HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 1.
