Eunbin Kim (Kyungil, KOR) finished 2-7 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kim lost 8-5 to Ethan Sampson (Chaska, USA), droppimg another game, 9-5 to Switzerland's Jan Iseli. Kim lost 7-6 to Benny Kapp (Fuessen/Oberstdorf , GER) where Kim responded with a 8-6 win over Landan Rooney (Whitby, CAN). Kim went on to lose 12-5 against Giacomo Colli (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA). Kim lost 11-3 to Xueqing Fei (Beijing, CHN). Kim lost 7-6 to Orrin Carson (Dumfries, SCO). Kim lost 6-3 to Lukas Hostmaelingen (Oslo, NOR) where Kim responded with a 11-3 win over Serkan Karagoz (Erzurum, TUR) in their final qualifying round match.

Kim earned 3.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 31 of the event schedule, Kim did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kim ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
