Giacomo Colli (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA) finished 5-4 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Colli defeated Serkan Karagoz (Erzurum, TUR) 7-4, then went on to lose 6-5 against Lukas Hostmaelingen (Oslo, NOR). Colli lost 10-3 to Orrin Carson (Dumfries, SCO). Colli lost 7-3 to Ethan Sampson (Chaska, USA) where Colli responded with a 12-5 win over Eunbin Kim (Kyungil, KOR). Colli won 4-3 against Benny Kapp (Fuessen/Oberstdorf , GER), then won 8-4 against Landan Rooney (Whitby, CAN). Colli went on to lose 7-6 against Xueqing Fei (Beijing, CHN). Colli responded with a 4-3 win over Switzerland's Jan Iseli in their final qualifying round match.

Colli earned 7.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 31 of the event schedule, Colli did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Colli ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
