Xueqing Fei (Beijing, CHN) won 8-7 over Benny Kapp (Fuessen/Oberstdorf , GER) in the Final of the World Junior Curling Championships, held February 25 - March 4, 2023 in Fuessen, Germany. To advance to the championship game, Fei won 8-1 over Orrin Carson (Dumfries, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2023 World Junior Curling Championships in Fuessen, Germany;
 
Fei finished 6-3 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fei lost 8-5 to Switzerland's Jan Iseli, then responded with a 9-6 win over Landan Rooney (Whitby, CAN). Fei went on to lose 6-5 against Ethan Sampson (Chaska, USA). Fei lost 9-6 to Serkan Karagoz (Erzurum, TUR) where Fei responded with a 9-3 win over Carson. Fei won 11-3 against Eunbin Kim (Kyungil, KOR), then won 7-6 against Lukas Hostmaelingen (Oslo, NOR) and 7-6 against Giacomo Colli (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA). Fei won 4-3 against Kapp in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the World Junior Curling Championships Championship title, Fei earned 30.000 world rankings points, moving up 445 spots the World Ranking Standings into 112th place overall with 30.000 total points. Fei ranks 109th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 30.000 points earned so far this season.
