Doug McLennan (St. Albert, AB) qualified for the 2023 Curling Alberta Mixed Provincial Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-5 against Aaron Bartling (Drayton Valley, AB).
 
McLennan finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McLennan defeated Brandt Holt (Sherwood Park, AB) 9-4, then won 8-4 against Jacob Libbus (Calgary, AB) and 7-4 against Ocean Pletz (Wetaskawin, AB). McLennan won 7-3 against Tom Worth (Edmonton, AB). McLennan went on to lose 6-4 against Cole Adams (St. Albert, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
