Aaron Bartling (Drayton Valley, AB) lost 7-5 to Evan van Amsterdam (Edmonton, AB) in the Final of the Curling Alberta Mixed Provincial Championship, held February 22 - 26, 2023 at the Leduc Curling Club in Leduc, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Bartling won 3-2 over Mike Lambert (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the 2023 Curling Alberta Mixed Provincial Championship in Leduc, Alberta, Canada; and won 6-5 over Doug McLennan (St. Albert, AB) in the quarterfinals.
 
Bartling finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bartling lost 5-3 to Terren Algot (Sherwood Park, AB), then responded with a 5-2 win over Ryan Parent (Calgary, AB). Bartling won 8-3 against Kurt Balderston (Grande Prairie, AB), then won 9-2 against Jordan Lightbown (Beaumont, AB) and 11-3 against Morgan Muise (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Bartling ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
