James Craik (Forfar, SCO) qualified for the 2024 Co-op Canadian Open playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-4 against Bruce Mouat (STIRLING, SCO). of the 2024 Co-op Canadian Open in Red Deer, Alberta;
 
Craik finished 2-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Craik defeated Joel Retornaz (Trentino, ITA) 5-4, then went on to lose 9-2 against Mouat. Craik lost 7-3 to Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) where Craik responded with a 6-1 win over Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Craik earned 30.000 world rankings points for their Top 7 finish in the Co-op Canadian Open. Craik move up 4 spots after posting a net gain of 21 points improving upon their best 7 results so far this season, ranking 11th overall with 205.875 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
