Kolykhalova3-2 at 2022 World Mixed Doubles Qualification Event

Yekaterina Kolykhalova (Almaty, KAZ) finished 3-2 in the 17-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kolykhalova defeated Farzana Hussain (Leonora, GUY) 7-2, then went on to lose 9-1 against Hannah Augustin (Kitzbuehel, AUT). Kolykhalova responded with a 8-6 win over Lea Jere (Ljubliana, SLO). Kolykhalova went on to lose 10-7 against Lotta Immonen (Hyvinkaa, FIN). Kolykhalova responded with a 10-4 win over Susana Cole (Accra, NGR) in their final qualifying round match.

Kolykhalova earned 4.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 19 of the event schedule, Kolykhalova did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kolykhalova ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
