Yujin Bang (Uiseong, KOR) finished 1-5 in the 7-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bang lost 12-2 to Seungyoun Ha (Chuncheon, KOR), droppimg another game, 7-4 to Gayeong Shin (Jeonbuk, KOR). Bang lost 8-6 to Eunjung Kim (Gangneung , KOR). Bang lost 11-0 to Eun ji Gim (Uijeongbu, KOR). Bang lost 7-5 to Bobae Kang (Songhyun, KOR) where Bang responded with a 6-3 win over Minseo Kim (Bongmyeong, KOR) in their final qualifying round match.

Bang earned 0.938 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 1 of the event schedule, Bang did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Bang ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
