Perret/Rios finished 3-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Perret/Rios lost 9-7 to Pia-Lisa Schoell/Klaudius Harsch (Oberstorf, GER), then responded with a 8-4 win over Sarah Mueller/Marco Hoesli (Bern, SUI). Perret/Rios went on to lose 7-3 against Ramsfjell/Ramsfjell. Perret/Rios responded with a 7-6 win over Tonoli/Gosgens.
