Roenning/Braenden finished 3-2 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Roenning/Braenden lost 9-6 to Zuzana Paulova/Tomas Paul (Prague, CZE), droppimg another game, 8-7 to Triin Madisson/Karl Kukner (Tallinn, EST) where Roenning/Braenden responded with a 11-2 win over Mintaute Jurkute/Paulius Rymeikis (Vilnius, LTU). Roenning/Braenden won 8-7 against Oihane Otaegi/Mikel Unanue (San Sebastian, ESP), then won 10-4 against Vera Kalocsai/Otto Kalocsay (Budapest, HUN) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the WCT Tallinn Mixed Doubles International Championship title, Roenning/Braenden earned 37.500 world rankings points along with the $1,319CDN first prize cheque. For week 8 of the event schedule, Roenning/Braenden did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
