Pierce finished 2-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Pierce defeated Cody Tanaka (New Westminster, BC) 5-4, then won 4-1 against Dave Merklinger (Vernon, BC). Pierce went on to lose 6-5 against Yanagisawa in their final qualifying round match.
 
Pierce earned 10.625 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic.
