Meghan Walter (Winnipeg, MB) qualified for the 2023 Co-op Canadian Open playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-5 against Eun ji Gim (Uijeongbu, KOR). of the 2023 Co-op Canadian Open in Camrose, Alberta;

Walter finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Walter lost 8-2 to Kerri Einarson (Gimli, MB), then responded with a 5-4 win over Isabelle Ladouceur (Dundas, ON). Walter won 10-5 against Michele Jaeggi (Bern, SUI), then won 7-6 against Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
