To advance to the championship game, Dunstone won 6-5 over Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) in the semifinals of the 2022 Nufloors Penticton Curling Classic in Penticton, British Columbia, Canada; and won 6-5 over Glenn Howard (Penetanguishene, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2022 Nufloors Penticton Curling Classic in Penticton, British Columbia, Canada;
Dunstone finished 3-2 in the 30-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dunstone lost 5-3 to Daniel Casper (Chaska, MN), then responded with a 10-0 win over Darryl Sobering (Denver, CO). Dunstone went on to lose 8-2 against Howard. Dunstone responded with a 6-4 win over Cameron de Jong (Penticton, BC). Dunstone won 6-3 against Dallan Muyres (Saskatoon , SK) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Nufloors Penticton Curling Classic, Dunstone take home 38.500 world rankings points along with the $15,000CDN prize, remaining in 5th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 3.6 after improving upon their best so far this season. Dunstone ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 160.250 points earned so far this season.
