To advance to the championship game, Immonen/Sipila won 8-3 over Susanna Santti/Iikko Santti (Hyvinkaa, FIN) in the semifinals of the 2021 Nazarbayev Curling Cup WCT Mixed Doubles in Almaty, Kazakhstan; and won 10-4 over Angelina Ebauyer/Madiyar Korabayev (Almaty, KAZ) in the quarterfinals. of the 2021 Nazarbayev Curling Cup WCT Mixed Doubles in Almaty, Kazakhstan;
Immonen/Sipila finished 5-0 in the 18-team qualifying round. .
