Bruce Mouat (Stirling, SCO) won 8-3 over Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) in the Final of the Princess Auto Players' Championship, held April 12 - 17, 2022 in Toronto, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Mouat won 8-3 over Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the 2022 Princess Auto Players' Championship in Toronto, Ontario; and won 7-5 over Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals.
 
Mouat finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mouat defeated Marco Hoesli (Glarus, SUI) 7-4, then won 6-3 against Matt Dunstone (Regina, SK) and 8-2 against Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Princess Auto Players' Championship Championship title, Mouat earned 92.039 world rankings points along with the $40,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 2nd place overall with 491.323 total points. Mouat ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 491.323 points earned so far this season.
