Richards went on to lose 6-3 against Diane Gushulak (New Westminster, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

Richards earned 1.696 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 75th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 33.579 total points. Richards ranks 140th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.696 points earned so far this season.
