Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) won 6-5 over Tracy Fleury (East St. Paul, MB) in the Final of the Tim Hortons Curling Trials, held November 20 - 28, 2021 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. To advance to the championship game, Jones won 8-3 over Krista McCarville (Thunder Bay, NONT) in the semifinals of the 2021 Tim Hortons Curling Trials in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan;
Jones finished 5-3 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jones defeated McCarville 8-5, then won 10-2 against Jacqueline Harrison (Dundas, ON) and 8-7 against Laura Walker (Edmonton, AB). Jones won 7-5 against Casey Scheidegger (Lethbridge, AB). Jones went on to lose 10-9 against Kerri Einarson (Gimli, MB). Jones responded with a 8-5 win over Kelsey Rocque (Edmotnon, AB). Jones went on to lose 7-5 against Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON). Jones lost 7-6 to Fleury in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Tim Hortons Curling Trials Championship title, Jones earned 89.063 world rankings points. Jones move up 3 spots after posting a net gain of 69.579 points improving upon their best 3 results so far this season, ranking 3rd overall with 335.966 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Jones ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 183.597 points earned so far this season.
