Scheidegger lost 7-4 to Corryn Brown (Kamloops, BC) where Scheidegger responded with a 6-4 win over Ryleigh Bakker (Calgary, AB). Scheidegger went on to lose 7-2 against Tabitha Peterson (Chaska, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Scheidegger earned 7.299 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins.
